A vocab word i didn't know i needed

I’m sitting in a hotel lobby in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, looking at a small dog's ass, and I have questions.

Is it cold outside? (no)

Is it normal for this breed to have such tucked-under hindquarters? (apparently, yes)

What are other words for this area .... heiny, toosh...?

I search online for "butt synonyms" and am immediately offended.

This word has been around since at least 1675, and I
just got the memo 😡

I can't wait to ask a class to locate their nates and do some nate shaking.

Greyhounds and Italian greyhounds (like the one outside my window) are built to sprint.

Their scooped-forward pelvis is the result of 6,000+ years of selective breeding for speediness.

Because the hind legs reach further forward with each stride, it can run faster than other dogs.

For the mini G I’m staring at, the hunch shape is not a postural issue; it's an asset 🐾

However,

for us upright beings πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ, having a hyperclamped, pant-eating butt does not help us run faster. or do the splits. or invert on a pole.

I spend a fair amount of time helping folks free their cheeks because, yes, your pelvic posture will have a big ol' impact on your strength, mobility, and flow.

which brings us to my upcoming workshops which include fair amounts of butt untucking...

I've helped people unlock movement skills in 4 minutes that they'd struggled with for 10 years.(not an exaggeration.)they thought they needed more strength and flexibility. what they actually needed was to update what was happening in their minds as they tried. here's what I believe on this late April day in the year 2026:Movement improvement happens faster when what's going on in your head supports the change you're trying to make. cue the flying hand gestures! ☝︎Click to witness my...
